SCAL Workplace Safety & Health Awards for SLOTS

The annual SCAL Workplace Safety & Health Awards for SLOTS registered contractors is now open for applications! The awards aim to recognise SLOTS sub-contractors who have gone above and beyond to promote a safe and healthy work environment through the implementation of sound WSH management systems.

The awards are supported by the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC), a statutory board led by industry representatives that oversees safety standards and promotes a strong workplace safety culture in Singapore.

Winners will be announced and recognised at the SCAL Annual EHS Campaign 2025. This year we are expecting over 450 industry leaders, government regulators, WSH professionals to be at the event.

Timeline
 

Open for Applications

Download the online application form via the link HERE and submit the completed form, attaching all relevant documents, and submit to sammi@scal.com.sg by 30 April 2025 (Friday), 5pm sharp. 
Preliminary Selection

Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted organisations will be notified for a face-to-face interview. 
Interview/ Judging Period

The shortlisted submissions will be evaluated by a panel of independent expert judges from the industry and winners will be selected based on a set of strict criteria. 
Awards Ceremony

The winners will be announced and celebrated at the coveted SCAL EHS Campaign 2025 attended by over 450 industry regulators, WSH professionals & more. 
 


Eligibility Criteria

  

Participating companies must satisfy the following conditions in 2024/2025:
 

  • MUST be a Singapore List of Trade Subcontractors (SLOTS) registered contractor.
  • Must not be a registered A1, A2, L6 or L5 contractor under BCA Contractors Registry.
  • No workplace accident that led to fatal and major injury.
  • No dangerous occurrences.
  • No stop work orders received.
  • No ongoing investigation, conviction or prosecution of all worksites with regards to matters concerning the workplace under the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary legislation.
  • Not placed under the MOM’s Business Under Surveillance Program.
