Key Lessons from HSP and Building a Strong WSH Culture Moving Forward

Presentation Synopsis:

Silas will present case studies on key insights gained during the 9-month Health and Safety Plan (HSP) accountability sessions with CEOs/top management companies that had fatal or serious accidents.

He will also share on WSH measures the government will introduce to strengthen Workplace Safety and Health WSH ownership fundamentally and sustainably across the entire ecosystem.

Silas was appointed the Commissioner and Divisional Director for the Occupational Safety and Health Division. He is entrusted with the honour and responsibility to lead the division to achieve the next level of WSH improvements in Singapore guided by the WSH2028 strategies.

Silas is instrumental in drafting and developing the outcome-based Workplace Safety and Health Act that was enacted in 2006 and replaced a more prescriptive Factories Act.
