With the Built Environment being one of the hardest hit sectors from this pandemic, there are multitudes of stresses experienced by both employers and employees - being in isolation indoors, financial concerns, job security, stressors around the unknown, and worries about loved ones. Mental fatigue and emotional overload have already set in.
Our migrant workers have been isolated for months in their place of residences, with extremely limited social interactions. Even with the security of salary and medical support, they may be suffering from mental health issues with varying degrees of severity. Employers must be the first line of defence for the mental health of our migrant brothers and sisters.
Join us to understand the implications and learn how to identify signs of mental distress among your workers, staff and even yourself! Act positively to nip the problems to maintain a positive mental wellbeing. The speakers will examine the need for awareness, identify mental distress and anxieties, and suitable responses on how to address these distresses towards a more positive outcome.
